As 2015 draws to a close, we take time to examine and reflect on the images we’ve captured throughout the year. We ask ourselves, what do we like about our images? Does my interpretation convey the story I’m trying to tell? Do my images bring about an emotional connection? And what could I have done differently to improve?

We thought it a great idea to reach out to our Goldpaint Photography Alumni with the same questions and ask them to send us their favorite image from 2015! We were unable to teach a full workshop schedule this year however, our alumni captured some VERY impressive and inspiring work. Their images help feed our passion and desire to promote the preservation of our night skies and inspire exploration of our world through images, workshops, and videos.

    Awesome photography…the colors… the landscapes..the skies.

It’s actually opened up a complete new world for me.
