Kirsten Tucker

I was shooting at this location with some others. I noted this composition before sunset and managed to find it again in the dark. Because of the shot planning knowledge I’ve gained as a Goldpaint Alumni, I knew that if I stayed until 1 AM, the Milky Way would line up straight above the mountain. Everyone else left and it was just me, the mountain and stars. It could not have been a more clear night. Processing took me a couple of tries but this shot happened because of all the hours in the field I’ve spent with Brad. Thank you!
