Pat Maccariella-Hafey

I had been planning a trip to Acadia National Park and wanted to capture the Milky Way when I was there in late July. Out of 5 days I only had 2 nights with clear night skies. This was one of very few times I had ventured out to photograph the Milky Way on my own. Armed with the knowledge I learned from Brad G. during his workshops, I planned my location and setup. I had to work with several other photographers at the location. Just being out there was so peaceful and inspiring. I was happy to come away with this memento of my trip there and that is why this image is my favorite. It is a magical place.
