I took this composite image from the total lunar eclipse in 2022 at the San Jacinto monument in Texas. I did some scouting and saw the moonrise would line up, but couldn’t find a location far away enough to get the moon and the monument in one shot, so I took individual photos of the moon with a zoom lens and then wider angle images for the monument/foreground and mixed in photoshop. It came out very nicely and loved the reminder of an awesome night!
