Time-lapse Software

It’s very important to come to your workshop with the correct programs installed and up-to-date. Since we will (possibly) be working from a slow, public wi-fi connection, you WILL NOT have time to download or update your software before the time-lapse post processing class. The Time-lapse Workshop Booklet I will provide was designed using Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, & LRTimelapse. If you are working with Adobe CS6 version or below, I recommend installing the free, 7 day trial of all programs for the workshop, then determine if you want to upgrade afterwords.

Adobe

To make sure you install the correct programs, download and install the ‘Adobe Creative Cloud App.’ After installation is complete, the application can be found in the Start Menu (PC) or Finder>Applications (MAC)

  • Once Adobe Creative Cloud is opened, click on the ‘All Apps’ tab at the top (see screenshot above for an example)
  • You will now see a list of apps you can download from Adobe
  • Click the ‘Install’ button for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, & Bridge
  • Confirm all programs have installed, with all updates, similar to the screenshot above. Camera RAW should be seen in the apps list after installing Photoshop

LRTimelapse

LRTimelapse

I will also be covering LRTimelapse during the tutorial. I will be using version 6.5.5. You can download a trial version here: https://lrtimelapse.com/download/. If interested in purchasing a license for this program, please see the email I sent you.
