This is my favorite image of 2023 because it is the best meteor shower image that I have ever taken. Lake Irene in Rocky Mountain National Park provided an ideal foreground for the Perseid Meteors on August 12-13, 2023. This image is a composite of 48 exposures taken over a four hour period.
