Did you miss the wildly successful 2021 Nightscaper’s Conference featuring many of the world’s leading astrophotographers? Well, you’re in luck! Above you’ll find my presentation entitled: ‘Photographing the Milky Way with Moonlight’ where I share my journey of becoming a photographer and how I approach getting my moonlit images.

I had an amazing time at the 2021 Nightscaper’s Conference because I got to share my love of the night sky as well as meet and collaborate with some world class night photographers and visionaries, some who I’ve followed for almost a decade. Being surrounded by so many like-minded individuals really motivated me to continue to share my experiences, knowledge, and creativity through instruction and practice. During the conference, I also shared a 15-minute, in-depth look at our upcoming featured film, “Illusion of Lights: A Journey Into the Unseen.”

A huge ‘THANK YOU’ to Royce Bair for his tireless efforts in bringing us all together and keeping the dream alive of gathering the world’s most influential photographers together throughout the challenges of COVID-19.

  • Brad Goldpaint“Two great passions of mine are wilderness travel and experiencing the drama of a night sky. I combine my passions with photography by teaching night sky workshops to people just like you. Come explore the magic of the Milky Way with me as it travels each night over unique landscapes within the Western US.”
