While experimenting with the Nikon 10mm OP Fisheye, a Perseid meteor fell through the comp right in the Milky Way. I love shooting old glass, this was a real treasure to find. The edges of the orthographic projection are not as soft as in other Nikkor fisheyes, putting more emphasis in the center of the image. This old lens projects into the mirror space of the camera. Designed to shoot on a film camera, with the mirror locked up, this lens can be shot by turning on Live View BEFORE mounting the lens. The night sky provided the magic.See more of Tim’s work by visiting his website.
