My one astro focused trip this year was to Bryce Canyon and the surrounding area in June. We managed to shoot for five nights and I got a number of decent images. This one of Swamp Canyon is my favorite because of the balance created between the tree and the Milky Way, the leading lines into the canyon and the air glow in the night sky. We were challenged by a fire that was very near where we were shooting, but the sky was quite clear on this night. Bryce Canyon is a great location!
